KnowNow Information is pleased to announce that we have been awarded Innovate UK funding as part of a consortium led by NquiringMinds Limited, alongside Deep Tech Research Ltd and Imetis Limited, for the SNPN 5G Assured Integration competition.
The funding will support SYNAPSE, an 18-month collaborative research and development project focused on the next generation of private 5G networks.
SYNAPSE will develop secure and resilient private 5G technology for demanding environments, including defence and critical national infrastructure.
The project brings together expertise in secure networking, systems integration, data resilience and assurance. KnowNow Information will contribute its expertise in operational technology (OT), data integration and critical national infrastructure, supporting the integration and validation of the technology in real-world operational scenarios.

The SYNAPSE project began in August 2026 and will run for 18 months, bringing the consortium together to develop, integrate, test and validate the technology.
