As part of our commitment to staying at the forefront of artificial intelligence (AI) and ensuring our team’s skills are continuously evolving, we’ve either completed or are considering a range of AI-related courses. From beginner-level introductions to more advanced courses on fine-tuning models, these resources have been invaluable in helping us integrate AI into our projects such as eLGAR and Entelligently, and crucially, help us stay ahead of the curve.

1. AI Essentials from Google

Google AI Essentials is a self-paced course designed to help people across roles and industries get essential AI skills to boost their productivity, zero experience required. The course is taught by AI experts at Google who are working to make the technology helpful for everyone.
2. Learn AI Prompting with Google

Ready to get more out of AI? Google Prompting Essentials will teach you how to design prompts that work in 5 easy steps. Learn how AI can help you save time when tackling complex tasks, analyzing data, and summarizing information.
3. Python for AI Beginners
deeplearning.ai – Python for AI
This is a fantastic introductory course for anyone looking to get started with Python in AI. My 10-year-old twin boys recently completed this course, and it’s been great for developing their understanding of AI fundamentals. It’s perfect for those just starting out and wanting to learn how to work with Python for AI applications.
4. AI Courses on LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning – AI Courses
LinkedIn Learning offers a wide range of AI courses for all skill levels. Whether you’re just starting to dip your toes into AI or are looking to expand your skills with more advanced topics, there’s a course for you here. This platform is great for continuous learning and skill development in AI-related fields.
5. Using OpenAI APIs: Fine-Tuning Models, the Assistant API, and Embeddings
Codecademy – Using OpenAI APIs
For those with a bit more experience, this Codecademy course dives deep into using OpenAI APIs, including fine-tuning models, usng the Assistant API, and working with embeddings. It’s a great next step for anyone looking to integrate AI more deeply into their business or projects.
6. IBM AI Education Tracks
IBM Education – AI Skills
Finally, most of the AI companies have their own education tracks for implementing their own technologies. Here at KnowNow Information, we have been using the IBM education system and earning accreditations for the skills we need to convince our customers that we can walk the talk! These tracks are designed to give hands-on experience with IBM’s AI tools, helping us stay credible and up-to-date on the latest AI applications.
7. Amazon AWS Skills Builder
Great for building on AWS Cloud. We don’t often use AWS so this course quickly helped us to understand the differences (and some advantages) over our usual options.
8. Udemy (paid)
Good for variety and for structured learning.
